IHS Auto Reviews: Volvo Sensus Connected Touch Demonstration
Added by AutomotiveUploads
Volvo's new Sensus Connected Touch infotainment system incorporates an Android OS on top of Volvo's current system. The new software and infrared screen bezel can be fitted by dealers to current Volvo vehicles as well as Volvos dating back to 2011. The new infrared sensor-equipped bezel around the 7-inch screen allows for swiping and other multi-touch gestures on the screen. The Android OS also provides Google Maps, web browsing, and a number of internet radio options like Spotify. There is also an app store for new apps and software updates. The connection is provided by either a 3G/4G dongle or the user's smartphone.
