CBR vs. GSXR! HOW INSANE TURBO CHARGED STREET BIKE MOTORCYCLES SET WORLD RECORD XDA DRAG BIKE FINALS
Added by AutomotiveUploads
The XDA Drag Bike Racing Superbike Showdown from Maryland International Raceway was an unforgettable, record-smashing event which saw Jeremy Teasley go into uncharted Street bike territory, riding his turbo charged, no bar, DOT tire, Pro Street GSXR 1000 to a new world record of 6.42 alongside Frankie Stotz’s 6.46 on his turbo Honda CBR1000rr, making him the second quickest street motorcycle racer in the world. We then see our Pro Extreme dragbike Final, featuring turbo, wheelie bar Funny Bikes as the Suzuki GS of Kevin Clark out of Timblin Chassis meets Rodney’s Williford’s HAYABUSA. Special thanks to World Wide Bearings for the No. 1 qualifier bonus. That brings us to our Real Street final between Teasley’s GSXR 1000 and Spencer Claycomb’s nitrous Suzuki HAYABUSA. Claycomb was reinstated after Ashley Contoir beat him in the semifinals, blew a motor, then decided to bypass the scales to give the fans a side-by-side final. Congrats to all involved! Jack Korpela and Fabian Brown have your recap.
