All New Kawasaki ninja ZX 25R full review, specifications, features and more/upcoming bikes in Ind

Added by AutomotiveUploads
The very maker of the supercharged Ninja H2R, Kawasaki is believed to be working on a new and more powerful 250cc motorcycle. What makes it important is the fact that this motorcycle, speculated to be named ZX-25R could be powered by a four-cylinder engine. And a working prototype of the same is ready at Kawasaki's Indonesian facility, states an online report. While there is no confirmation of any sort from Kawasaki, we believe the Kawasaki ZX-25R could make its first appearance at the EICMA 2019 show that is scheduled to take place later this year.

Further, the online report also mentions that a Kawasaki 250cc prototype was spotted with a racing exhaust with a loud engine note similar to that of a big bike of a larger displacement. There are no details on the exact displacement of this engine or the power and torque figures that this unit will be capable of making. However, it is being said that this 250cc four-cylinder mill will make close to 50PS, making it the most powerful 250cc engine when it goes on sale. This is similar to what the Royal Enfield twins make with the 650cc engine. The Ninja 250, that is on sale in some of the international markets, produces a power output of 39PS and generates a torque of 23.5Nm. Kawasaki India offers the Ninja 300 in the country that is powered by a four-stroke parallel twin 296cc engine that churns out 39PS at 11,000rpm and produces 27Nm at 10,000rpm.....

If the Kawasaki ZX-25R does come into existence, it will primarily compete with the Honda CBR250R. But clearly, with the four-cylinder engine configuration and higher power output figures, the ZX-25R will be a lot more sportier than the CBR250R. From the information that has been shared on the Indonesian website as well as the rendering, one can expect the Kawasaki ZX-25R to come with razor-sharp styling, more aggressive than the Ninja 400, LED headlight, dual-channel ABS, TFT instrument cluster, inverted forks and ride-by-wire tech with ride modes. We expect Kawasaki to replicate the technological marvel in a 250cc motorcycle that the company showcased with the larger supercharged H2 and H2R Superbike
