In this video we are showing you how to install American Racing Headers long tube headers with a catted x-pipe and their axle-back exhaust on out 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019 GT Mustang. Since the arrive of the new S550 Mustang, one of the biggest requests we have received is long tube headers. We have had great success with American Racing Headers products on our previous project cars, so we were anxious to put a set on our new GT.

These long tube headers are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and engineered for a great fit with outstanding horsepower and torque gains throughout the RPM range. The headers come with a catted x-pipe and 3" mid-pipes to work with the stock exhaust, however, we also installed their axle-back exhaust, here:

Installation is rather time-consuming, it can be tricky to reach all the bolts necessary for the headers, but it can be done in your garage over the weekend. Once the headers are in place the rest of the system is pretty straight forward.

When we fired up the engine for the first time after the install we were immediately impressed. Our 2015 GT sounds vicious, very aggressive. The weather has not co-operated so we weren't able to give you some driving shot at this time, but stay tuned as we do plan on doing those in the near future.
