1977 Pontiac Trans Am - Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis - #6639

Added by AutomotiveUploads

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautiful 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. This T/A has been tastefully resto-modded into an absolute street beast. The beating heart of this monster is a Pontiac 474 Stroker. This is a 455 block bored .60 over. It has a butler forged steel crank with 4.25 in. stroke and Eagle forged rods and pistons. It has a Howards hydraulic roller cam, springs, and lifters. The heads are ported and polished 7K3 Pontiac heads. It breathes through Dougs ceramic headers with stainless 3" dual exhaust. Backing this screaming engine is a built TH350 transmission with a 2,500-2,800 stall converter. This runs to a Moser 10 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. The body sits on a Hotchkis lowering kit with sway bars. In the rear that are Lakewood Traction bars and 6 leaf rear springs. The body is finished in a deep coat of black which shows off the straight lines. It looks amazing sitting on 17" Year One snowflake wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. Bringing it all to a halt is power front disc brakes with rear drums. Inside is all new red vinyl interior which looks great contrasting with the black exterior. This car is set up to be driven. You could take this one on the Power Tour, or the Bandit Run and really turn some heads. This would make one bad to the bone daily driver.
