1977 MGB Roadster Restoration Project Episode 6 - Tear Down Part 2

In this video, we remove the console that holds the radio, then the windshield and the dash.

The dash is very difficult to remove. There are 6 nuts. The bolts angle away from the cabin. 4 are relatively easy but the 1 behind and above the steering column is virtually impossible. It seems that the dash was never meant to be taken off unless it was going to be replaced. The nuts are 7/16" and I used a deep socket.

The Windshield has 4 main bolts, 2 on each side. They are 9/16" bolts. There are also two bolts at the center of the windshield at the base of the rear view mirror rod. A 12mm box end did the trick.
