Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer a 1933 Ford 3-Window Coupe. The Downs Manufacturing body has been chopped 4” and has a bobbed rear end. They also made the chassis she rides on, with a Ford 9” posi-traction rear end that’s been narrowed, with 3.5:1 gears. The rear suspension has Pro-Shock coil overs, TCI independent/ Aldan coil overs, ’88 Charger power rack & pinion, with Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. This beauty was done correctly, as it was a labor of Love – and it shows! From the flames to the grill, to the monster motor shoe-horned in between the front fenders, to all that chrome, and did we mention the stance? WOW! This 1933 Coupe is powered by a 1969 Hemi 426 cu.in. rated at 525-hp, with 1965 magnesium Cross Ram powder coated intake, with (2) Holley 3116 780cfms carburetors, Sanderson HPC coated headers, Flowmaster 2.5” exhaust with pneumatic cut outs, and has under 5,000-miles since built. Handling all that power is a GM 700R-4 automatic transmission, with a 2,500 stall converter, and a Lokar 16” floor shift. So, not only does this wild ride stand out – she can scream it out! Make sure you take a listen to the video on this car – and you may find yourself holding on just sitting on the couch!! The interior features 1990 Vette bucket seats finished in black leather houndstooth, Ididit tilt steering column, Classic Instruments Moon Eyes gauges, Vintage Air, black wool carpet, console, and a custom steering wheel.
Options for this 1933 Ford Coupe include: Tilt Wheel, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vintage A/C, Power Windows, PS Engineering GT40 style wheels 14”x6”, 15”x11.5”, Stainless Steel 29-Gal fuel tank. This build was completely documented with receipts, and photos, and will follow this car when sold! This ‘33 Ford is a great example of a street rod that could be driven and enjoyed in its current state, and place at any car show out there! Either way good times are sure to be had in this classic Ford Coupe.
