After three hours of racing, the Toyotas have made their first driver changes without falling in the classification, and the #36 Alpine A470 is still leading the LMP2s.

LMP1

Kamui Kobayashi took over for Mike Conway (TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid) and Fernando Alonso replaced Sebastien Buemi in the sister car (TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's #8 TS050 Hybrid). The gap between the two cars was 43 seconds at the beginning of the relay.

SMP Racing's cars are doing regular 3:22.00 laps and Stoffel Vandoorne (SMP Racing's #11 BR Engineering BR1-AER) started his first stint this hour. Rebellion Racing's #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson had trouble with a wheel nut, and an intervention on the rear suspension further slowed the car, after having to deal with a flat tyre in the first hour and an incident for Bruno Senna coming out of the Forest "Esse."

LMP2

Nicolas Lapierre still at the wheel of Signatech Alpine Matmut's #36 Alpine A470-Gibson, holding the lead in the class since the start. He is fighting off Job van Uitert who took over for Jean-Eric Vergne (G-Drive Racing's #26 Aurus 01-Gibson). The car incurred a stop & go penality for not respecting the Full Course Yellow procedure.

LMGTE Pro

Corvette Racing's #63 Corvette C7.R driven by Jan Magnussen and Porsche GT Team's #93 Porsche 911 RSR of Patrick Pilet have held the lead in the class. Following by only a few seconds, the #67 Ford GT of Jonathan Bomarito, the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE of James Calado and the #91 and #92 Porsche 911 RSRs driven by Richard Lietz and Michael Christensen, respectively.

LMGTE Am

Dempsey-Proton Racing's #77 Porsche 911 RSR still in the lead, but Team Project 1's #56 Porsche 911 RSR of Jörg Bergmeister and Keating Motorsports' #85 Ford GT of Jeroen Bleekemolen were hot on its heels ahead of TF Sport's #90 Aston Martin Vantage driven by Euan Hankey. Following them were WeatherTech Racing's #62 Ferrari of Toni Vilander, JMW Motorsport's #84 488 GTE of Rogardo Baptista and Spirit Of Race's #54 driven by Giancarlo Fisichella. Kessel Racing's #83 Ferrari 488 GTE held 11th position with Manuela Gostner at the wheel.
